Welcome to KnowledgeShare on Lopez Island
KnowledgeShare grew out of a desire to cultivate and support the exchange of community wisdom on Lopez Island. We facilitate informal classes with community members as both teachers and students. These classes encompass a wide range of topics (including but not limited to) community resilience, local history and environment, herbal/home healing, and food production, processing and preserving. KnowledgeShare is a not-for-profit group that anyone can join simply by being a teacher, student or organizer. Our hope is to empower self-learning and offer space and assistance for the sharing of community wisdom and skill.
