Teachers organize their own classes. If they would like assistance in finding a space and/or purchasing materials, KnowledgeShare will provide a helping hand. KnowledgeShare will take care of advertising, help with set up and break down, class registration, class fees/compensation of teachers, child-care for teachers, and giving directions and necessary information to students. We hope to keep classes affordable and accessible to all. We feel a sliding scale of $50-100.00 for teachers/per class is reasonable but also negotiable. This figure is based solely on time, not on skill level or credentials (we value all skill and information equally). Please let us know if you would like to teach a FREE class! All material costs will be included in class fees and reimbursed to teachers. We want to stress that you do not need to be an expert to teach a class; basic knowledge is valuable and can be taught as a beginner's class. Your particular wisdom and skills are just what many community members may be eager to learn.
